I would have never let my walls down again. I wouldn’t have invited, I wouldn’t have agreed, I would have stood my ground.
If I had known then what I know now I would have continued moving forward, worried about the healing later, I would have avoided feeling the way I do now
I want to believe the kind and loving words you offered after slinking out like a coward, but we both know better.
So you win, for now. By the grace of the universe I will win in the end.
